Bourboulenc or Malvoisie, Clairette, Roussanne and Marsanne are the grape varieties that are grown at Château La Negly and they make up 20% of the vineyard.
The Marsanne and the Roussanne provide a complexity of flowers and white fleshed fruit. In order to conserve the integrity of the juices and extract the least possible tannins we press entire bunches at very low temperature during the night.
We have two cuvees that emerge, La Brise Marine (The Sea Breeze) which has aromas of white fleshed fruit and La Falaise Blanche (The White Cliffs) which exudes flavours of passion fruit. The latter is processed and vinified in Austrian wood and will delight the customer’s taste buds whilst dining in first class restaurants.
Let’s not forget the Oppidum, the main grape variety of this cuvee is handpicked Chardonnay, a must for drinking with friends in the summer time.
